Isle of Capri is a canal-island neighbourhood just north of the Surfers Paradise centre, created from farmland in the 1950s and named after the Italian island. It’s one of the Gold Coast’s original waterfront canal estates, linked to the mainland by a bridge rebuilt to four lanes in 2022, and remains one of the more affluent addresses on the river.

These prices are for the vehicle, not per passenger. A meet & greet service — your driver waiting inside the terminal with a name sign, rather than at the curb — can be added for $49 when your pickup is at the airport.

Journey Time

The drive covers around 23km along the Gold Coast Highway. Outside peak periods, expect 25 to 30 minutes. On weekday afternoons, or during major Gold Coast events, allow closer to 40 to 55 minutes — your fixed price stays the same either way.
